What’s On

Bellac plays host to many events year-round ranging from the Bellac Festival arts/music/dance, the bi-annuale Tech Ovin (next one September 2017),  wedding show/car rally/beer festival (in October) and most recently, a national Hip Hop Dance festival held  in May at the Théatre du Cloitre.  And every year there’s the fabulous National Music Day on June 2lst when the whole town comes alive with music events.

The Bastille Day celebrations actually take place the day before on the 13th – starting with a fabulous Fireworks Display with music by the river then Music & Dancing afterwards until the early hours.

Also, there is a Fete du Printemps (usually in April) and a Fete de l’Automne – this year held on 1st October where local Artisans & Producteurs sell their produce in an open air market during the day – with local music and festivities.

Coming next:  Fete de Noel – Saturday 17th December 2016

From 4pm – 10pm – the Town centre comes alive with music and animation for the whole family – with stalls selling fresh food & drink plus ideas for Christmas presents.

When making your reservation, please enquire about possible events that are taking place during your stay with us.
